Chocolate Cake

Ingredients:
2 cups flour
2 cups sugar
1 cup cocoa
4 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup whole milk
1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 large eggs
3 teaspoons vanilla
1 cup boiling water

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Prepare 2 9-inch pans with Crisco and lightly flour.

Add the ingredients in the order stated and pour evenly in the cake pans.  Bake for 30-35 minutes until the toothpick check is clean. Cool and frost with a chocolate buttercream frosting!  Really delicious!

Frosting

1 1/2 cups butter

1 cup cocoa

5 cups powdered sugar

1/2 cup milk

3 teaspoons vanilla

Mix until light and fluffy and frost the cake when it is cool!  Be sure to put plenty in the middle!  :)
