Christmas is a warm and wonderful gathering of hearts in praise of our Redeemer.
He came as a precious baby to the loving arms of his mother and father. He came just like us.
And, we love him so . . . and, we love each other and want to give the world to one another.
The celebration bursts forth in our giving to others . . what more can we bestow?
Jesus makes our loving and giving come to life. He is all in all.
And so the New Year is upon us. Dream big and hope against all hope. He makes all things possible. Watch him bring the promise to life in your life. I will pray for you.

2 cans of pear halves
1/2 cup maple syrup
1/2 cup craisins
1 stick of butter
2 cups brown sugar
1 1/2 cups oatmeal
Place pear halves in a pan. Combine pear juice from the can with the maple syrup. Soak the craisins in the mixture. Combine butter, brown sugar, and oats. Make small balls and place on top of each pear. Pour the mixture over the pears. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Top with whipped cream to serve. Delicious!
